Every single household around the globe needs to stay somewhat clean. Obviously, there are some individuals who will live in a healthier environment than others. However, everyone needs to keep it adequate to live in. But, if anyone is anything like me than anything less than near-perfection is simply not an option. Specific cleaning supplies will accommodate for certain tasks, which makes it nearly impossible to invest in every one imaginable. So, what I have decided to do today is make up a short list of the essential tools and supplies to include in every single persons’ household.
Living with a cat has taught me one important fact, there will be an infinite amount of hair that will collect in every place imaginable. Combine this with the dust and debris that is already present in the air, and the formula for a vacuum cleaner is born. In my opinion, excess hair is repulsive and cringeworthy. About the only reasonable way to dispose of it is to suck it up with a vacuum cleaner. What is tricky about this particular tool, however, is there are a plethora of options to choose from. Some will feel the need to invest in a premium model, while others will settle for less. Either way, a perfect website that I ran across to accommodate everyone was http://vacuumseek.com/best-pet-vacuums/. For anyone who lives with a pet, this is mandatory.
I know, it is not fair to assume that most will be able to afford a dishwasher. After all, some can creep up into the $1,000 range. But, if one can stomach living with buying a used one then that price will significantly drop. It could end up being the single most beneficial appliance in the house. Because, if anyone resembles any of my traits, cleaning the dishes is an unbearable and tedious task that wastes endless amounts of time. Now, it is not as if a dishwasher takes zero effort on our part but it is significantly less annoying.
The last entry only accommodated a select few of individuals, those who despise cleaning dishes manually. But, everyone should be able to relate to this one. Unless there is a house design that I have not heard of, at some point windows will need to be cleaned. As hard as one can try, fingerprints, dust, and dirt will eventually make their way into windows. It is a brand all people all aware of, and maybe it is cliché, but I have not found a more sufficient means of cleaning windows (and mirrors) than with Windex. Of course, this means that everyone should make sure they have a supply of paper towels.
This may be the first entry that sparks a sense of “really, why would I need those”? Sure, one could settle for a traditional rag or towel to clean surfaces. However, where microfiber cloths come into play is the surfaces that can be compromised with scratches and scuffs. Take, for example, LCD and LED screens. The one key note I stress upon people who clean their computer and Television screens is to always use a microfiber cloth. Their design of polyester and nylon ensures that they will not leave any scratches on surfaces. Rarely do I ever walk into a home that does not have a modern TV, and the only adequate way to properly clean them is with a microfiber cloth.
I was strongly considering labeling this entry as just a mop, but I believe a Swiffer WetJet is more appropriate. Think of it as a more technologically advanced version of a traditional mop. It completes the exact same job a mop would but in an easier and more efficient way. Simply, press the button that releases the liquid on the floor and move it back and forth over the submerged area. The Swiffer WetJet is ideal for hardwood floors, I have yet to find a purpose for it otherwise.
This is just a short list, so if I missed something I was not aiming to touch on every tool and product possible. However, if every home has these essentials, then there will be no issue when it comes to keeping it in tip-top shape.
